It's Sock Monkey time!!!!!!!!

Sometimes you need a small project between the large ones. Try a Sock Monkey.
This project took about 3 days. It was relaxing.  I found "Learn to Crochet Toys" at Walmart a few months ago. And added it to my Ravelry library, then on the book shelf.  And just pulled it off and thought " It's Sock Monkey time".

One skein shawlette

Sometimes you buy only one skein of yarn because its pretty.. You get home and have no idea what to make with just one skein

The pattern is easy, but you will need to know how to do wrap and turns.  I added charms to the wrap and turns and on the ends

Ovarian Cancer Teal Scarf Project 2013

Last year the Baldwin Memorial UMC Prayer Shawl Ministry was asked to make 70 scarves for the Ovarian Cancer Survivor Walk in October at Annapolis Mall.
Here are some of the scarves I made for donation. (I know these pictures are in my Facebook album, but this gives me practice on adding picture and links to my new blog.)

Hi , I'm starting this blog on my 61 birthday.  Because I crochet and knit so many things, people always ask about how I did it or what pattern is that or what stitch did I used. This blog will cover steps I took to get to the end of the project. This is my first post.  So many more to come.
